Gir National Park
Gir National Park is pride of Gujarat with wide variety of animals, especially Asiatic lions, are found in abundance in the wild life sanctuary. Other animals seen in this national park are chinkara, leopards, deer and hyna. The park is famous activities such as bird watching and various safaris that it conducts for its visitors.
Laxmi Vilas Palace
The Laxmi Vilas Palace was built up in between years 1878 to 1890 by Maharaja Sayaji Rao and is one of the best heritage structures in Gujarat. The royal family still resides in the palace, but most of the part of the palace is open for visitors to enjoy its magnanimous beauty. The palace area has a mini zoo which is home to several crocodiles and peacocks. A museum equipped with stunning artwork, sculptures and armory adorns the palace.
The Akshardham Temple, situated in Gandhinagar, is one of the major temples in Gujarat. This temple is predecessor to Akshardham Temple, Delhi and is one of the most after sought tourist attractions in Gujarat. The best part with this temple is that three exhibition halls are lastingly setup for the benefit of visitors, which are named as Sat chit anand, Sahaj anand and Nityanand. Please note that this temple is closed for visitors on Monday, so you need to plan your trip accordingly.

The temple is open from 6 AM in the morning to 9:00 PM and has age-old ritual of three artis of Lord Shiva being done each day to please and worship him.
